Welcome!

My current work explores pattern, movement and relationship through a process of sequentially and proportionally folding paper circles. Beautiful grids of intersecting lines and points reveal relationship, symmetries and pattern that can be seen woven throughout life. The interplay between the folds in the circle,  their intersections and how and where I choose to connect multiple folded circles, guide the way.

Informed and inspired by the circle’s expression across media, I work primarily with paper, natural fibres and repurposed materials; incorporating textile techniques such as painting, dyeing, felting and stitching illuminates how each piece evolves. Threads and knots sewn at intersections impart a sense of past and future—of what is present and unseen, physical and energetic, and yet to be formed. Mirroring the movement and growth observed throughout life, folding circles grounds my work in nature’s processes.
